Local singer Siziwe Ngema urges fans to support new single Zola Budd
The artist is calling on the community to continue streaming and sharing the song as momentum builds.
Siziwe Ngema is making waves online with her newly released single, Zola Budd, which has already gained significant traction after sparking a viral dance challenge on social media.
The dance challenge has already attracted more than 61 00 views even before its official release.
With the track released on March 13, it is now available across all music digital platforms.
Ngema is calling on South Africans to continue supporting the song by streaming, downloading and sharing it, as momentum around the release continues to build.

Hailing originally from KwaZulu-Natal, Ngema is a talented singer, actress and songwriter known for her powerful and versatile voice, allowing her to perform across a wide range of music genres.
The now Germiston-based artist shares that her journey in the music industry began at the age of 19 when she was discovered by Lindelani Mkhize, founder of the renowned gospel ensemble Joyous Celebration.
She spent two years touring with Joyous Celebration, gaining valuable experience performing on major stages.
“Following this, I joined the internationally acclaimed musical production Umoja – The Spirit of Togetherness, where I performed as a lead singer in the segment Paradise Road.
“My time with Umoja allowed me to tour across 27 countries, showcasing my talents as both a singer and actress on global stages.
“After returning to South Africa, I continued to build my career in the music industry, including a stint as a backing vocalist for Mango Groove.”
Ngema has also worked as a session vocalist alongside several prominent South African artists, including Ringo Madlingozi, Joe Nina, Spikiri, Zahara and Camagwini, among others.

Now, with Zola Budd capturing attention across social media and digital platforms, Ngema is stepping into a new chapter of her career, one that reflects both her growth as an artist and her connection with a rapidly expanding audience.
“The song is a love story in which the artist expresses a deep desire to see their significant other.
“With no means of transport, she turns to a taxi, Zola Budd, for a lift. Blended with a modern sound, the track takes listeners on an emotional journey while still delivering an infectious rhythm they can dance to,” said Ngema.
