This is how people in need can apply for food parcels in Ermelo

Should they not have the means to open the link, they can state so in their message and a representative of the organisation will contact them to assist.

The 24th day of lockdown marked the third day of the aid organisation, The Giving Hands, distributing food parcels to less privileged families and individuals in Ermelo.

They recently handed-over about 2 000 parcels.

Applications from people in desperate need are pouring in and according to Ms Adele Smit, media liaison for the Giving Hands, they need all the help they can get.

People in need of assistance can send a WhatsApp to 083 720 4608 or an SMS to 066 487 3848 whereafter they will receive a link to fill in a form.

People willing to volunteer at The Giving Hands, can visit their website at www.thegivinghands.co.za and follow the volunteer’s tab.

In due course, someone from The Giving Hands will contact them to make the necessary arrangement.
