Hawks seek public’s help to locate person of interest in murder investigation

The Hawks are appealing to the public for assistance in locating Prince Gift Mdluli, whose knowledge may be vital to their investigation into the tragic killing of Lieutenant Colonel Piet Pretorius.

ERMELO – The Hawks have requested assistance in locating Prince Gift Mdluli, who may have information critical to their investigation into the murder of Lieutenant Colonel Piet Pretorius.

Lieutenant Colonel Pretorius, commander of the Vehicle Crime Investigation Unit in Ermelo, was fatally shot on January 16.

Anyone with information about Mdluli’s whereabouts is urged to contact the investigating officer, Captain Jacob Ras, at 082 462 0760.
