One dead in N11 roadside incident near R542 Breyten junction

A roadside incident on the N11 prompted caution warnings for motorists travelling on the N11 near the Breyten turn-off.

At approximately 11:04 this morning, Theo Craven of the South African Community Crime Watch alerted motorists to possible delays following a reported crime scene on the N11 near the R542 Breyten turn-off.

According to Craven, police and emergency services were already on scene at the time the alert was issued.

Motorists were urged to proceed with caution in the area and to comply with all instructions issued by authorities on site.

When The Highvelder arrived at the scene, a vehicle was observed stationary alongside the roadway.

One deceased individual was present and covered with a thermal foil blanket used by emergency services at the scene.
