Atharva Agre, a learner at Ermelo Primary School, participated in the third Mpumalanga Gert Sibande Chess (MGS) tournament of the year, held at Laerskool Secunda on Saturday.
Atharva won all his matches in the U/10 age group and finished in top spot.
