EDPC-shooter wins gold
Johnny competed as a marksman in the Enhanced Service Pistol division
A member of Ermelo Defensive Pistol Club (EDPC), Johnny dos Reis, won a gold medal at the annual International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) Africa Championship held in Pretoria over the weekend.
The international two-day tournament attracted a field of 232 competitors and was attended by many professional shooters from around the world.
Johnny competed as a marksman in the Enhanced Service Pistol division and held his nerve throughout the 17 extremely challenging stages to win a gold medal and promotion to Expert Shooter division.
EDPC is proud of Johnny’s achievements and wishes him well in future competitions.
