Local karatekas off to national tournament

Ermelo JKA Karate Club represent Mpumalanga at the National Japan Karate Association tournament.

Members of  Ermelo JKA Karate Club representing Mpumalanga at the National Japan Karate Association tournament at the Ellis Park indoor stadium today and tomorrow (19 and 20 May) are (front) Tenielle Thirion (kata and kumite), Aalia Deedat (kata and kumite). Zandri du Preez (kata and kumite), Chanè Thirion (kata and kumite), J.J. Broodryk (kata and kumite) and Jaco van Wyk (kata and kumite) with Jana du Plessis (kata), Jonardo van Dyk (kumite), Luhan Meyer (kata and kumite), Ronnie van Wyk (kata and kumite) and Sensei Madelein Coetzee (kata and kumite) in the back.
