ERMELO – Monte Sole capped a historic week by winning the Championship section of the annual MOTH Bowls Tournament after Ermelo hosted the event for the first time.

The tournament brought 64 military veterans representing 16 teams from 10 Shellholes to the Ermelo Bowling Club from July 12 to 16. Monte Sole’s winning team comprised Vaino Prinsloo, Fritz Olmesdahl, Ralph Griffiths and Vincent Sonnekus.
