Hillcrest High donates camera to SAPS

Hillcrest SAPS was grateful to receive a much-needed camera.

Hillcrest High School’s Interact Club presented Constable Lori-Anne Coetzee from the Hillcrest police station with a digital camera for the Hillcrest SAPS in a recent school assembly.

The Interact pupils had decided that they wanted to give a gift from the school back to the local community as part of the school’s 40th anniversary celebrations.

After throwing Col Bafana Ndlovu, the station’s new commander, an impromptu welcoming tea party at the station earlier in the year, the pupils decided to raise the funds for a digital camera, which ha been requested by Colonel Ndlovu and his staff.

At the assembly, a member of the Interact Club also offered up a prayer of encouragement and for the safety of our policemen and women and handed Cst Coetzee a framed copy of the prayer to hang in the office.
