The KZN-based club carries the hopes of the entire province who will be looking to them to walk away with the coveted trophy.
The entire City and province is wholeheartedly behind the boys and wishes them all the best for their final hurdle.
eThekwini Mayor, Zandile Gumede, has rallied behind the three competing KZN teams, promising a sporting spectacle and one-of-a-kind experience to both residents and visiting supporters.
“I am certain that our teams will do us proud this weekend. We’re calling on all sports fans to turn out in their numbers and support the sporting festivities scheduled,” she said.
Although a weekend of fun and festivities is envisaged, Gumede said safety and citizen’s well-being remained a priority.
“All measures are in place to ensure a smooth and seamless weekend full of memories. While there are no scheduled road closures Metro Police officers have been deployed to all hotspot areas to ensure compliance of City by-laws and to manage traffic on our roads,” she said.
“As the City leadership, we encourage people to enjoy responsibly and avoid drinking and driving.”
