Club high tea fit for royalty

The Santa's Surprise Hamper adopt-a-box campaign was launched at the event and the 31 Club hopes to bless 95 children attending an inner city Pre Primary School with these gifts at their annual school concert!

THE 31 Club Charity KZN, a well known fund-raising organisation, hosted its annual grand high tea event in Kloof recently.

And grand it was with elegant Japanese-themed decor and a table of eats, or rather a culinary art display of delectable fare which was a veritable feast for the eyes to enjoy before it made its inevitable way to the lips…and the hips.

Owner of Brookdale Health Hydro, Wendy Somers Cox, inspired 250 women with her informative talk – peppered with wry humour and hilarious anecdotes – about handling the biggest killer, stress.

The 31 Club shared their many projects they have managed to accomplish this year, directly benefiting several organisations and schools in KZN. All funds raised at their high-end functions are used to supply much need equipment and more personal items to many many beneficiaries. The volunteer members therefore truly make a difference in the community.
