Colour run contributes to conserving Westville

The third annual TMG Colour Run saw over 1200 participants, with the proceeds contributing to the Westville Conservancy.

THE annual Thekwini Motor Group (TMG) Colour Run was a resounding success, with over 1200 runners taking part in the recent event. Now in its third year, the event’s proceeds were donated to the Westville Conservancy to support its efforts in preserving the area’s natural beauty.

Cheron Lucien of TMG praised the Conservancy’s dedication, emphasising the impact of their work.
“The organisation works tirelessly to keep the area beautiful through its various projects, and it’s something truly worth supporting,” she said.
She also expressed gratitude to the sponsors and community members who made the event possible.
Sue Smith of the Westville Conservancy extended their gratitude for the donation.

“We would like to thank TMG for donating proceeds of the colour run to the new nursery and for all the maintenance work they carried out along the eco-trail prior to the run, which made the event possible. Thank you also to the Westville Country Club for hosting this exciting event and to all the ‘colourful’ participants for joining in the fun,” she said.
