Court to decide fate of ex-soldier accused of murdering wife
Lwanda Mxolisi Zungu appeared at the Pinetown Regional Court on Tuesday when the matter was adjourned for July 21 for judgment.
HAWA Allie who works as the court support for Mosaic NGO said they will be back next week, July 21, when a former soldier is due to hear his fate in the murder case of his wife.
Lwanda Mxolisi Zungu is in the dock for allegedly murdering Tania Msane Zungu.
He appeared briefly in court on Tuesday (July 14) and is set to learn his fate when the court hands down judgment next week.
Allie said the NGO will be there to show support to Tania’s family and her mother.

“We want justice for Tania. This is also a way of showing support to every woman that has been through domestic violence,” said Allie.
Tania was reportedly found by paramedics with multiple gunshot wounds at the couple’s home in Pinetown on January 3, 2024.
It was reported that on the morning of the incident, ALS Paramedics had responded to reports of a shooting at a residence on Tyrone Road in Padfield Park, Pinetown.
Tania was declared dead at the scene after she was assessed by paramedics. According to reports, Zungu and his wife are parents to two children.
