6 cars and 2 trucks involved in M7 collision

Motorists have been advised to avoid the M7 Durban-bound as traffic is at a standstill.

SIX people have been treated for various injuries after a collision involving six cars and two trucks on the M7 Durban-bound.

ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson said the accident happened while there was a traffic build-up as recovery from yesterday’s fatal collision was taking place.

The accident claimed the life of a police officer, Constable Nozipho Zuma, who was stationed at Bellair SAPS.

“The M7 Durban-bound is, once again, at a standstill – we advise motorists to avoid this route at all costs,” said Jamieson.
