Waterfall College celebrates 100% matric pass

Waterfall College celebrates a 100% matric pass rate as the Class of 2025 continues the school’s legacy of academic excellence.

WATERFALL College was thrilled to celebrate the Class of 2025’s achievements, including a 100% pass rate, continuing a tradition of academic excellence since the school’s inception in 2004.

Student Jeffrey Whittaker said he was pleased with the results and would miss the school he had been part of since the age of 11.

Fellow matriculant Abonge Mathe described the milestone as bittersweet, with matriculants heading in different directions, but grateful to celebrate together. Mathe achieved 95% for isiZulu.

Some of the school’s matriculants Coben Govindsamy, Blake Unsworth, Thomas Sparks, Hayden Wilson, Trent Freemantle, Jordyn Bell, Razeen Suleman, James Elsmere-Cary, Jeffrey Whittaker, Garth Brough and Conner Hay.

The class was celebrated at a special tea attended by graduates, staff and families.

Head Girl and top achiever Grace Reynolds said that the school had shaped the way she sees the world and would be deeply missed.

Top academic honours went to Jorja Hewison, who achieved six As, including a distinction placing her in the top 1% in the country for Business Studies, followed by Leila Cox and Grace Reynolds, each with five As, with Leila placing in the top 1% nationally for Mathematical Literacy.

“We congratulate the Class of 2025 for their wonderful results,” said principal Bryony Green. “We are incredibly excited about what the future holds for these capable and talented young people, and we look forward to them visiting us and sharing their post-matric journeys.”
