PINETOWN Police are investigating a case of carjacking on Caversham Road, Pinetown, at approximately 10:00 today, August 26.

It is alleged that two brothers, who were working on site, were in the parking area when they were accosted by five armed men.

Pinetown SAPS communications officer Jennifer Naidu said the armed men took their vehicle at gunpoint, and also allegedly robbed them of their two firearms and two cellphones.

“No shots were fired by the suspects during the incident. A case of carjacking is being investigated and no arrests have been made at this stage,” reported Naidu.
