THE staff, volunteers and animals at the Kloof and Highway SPCA invite Highway residents to celebrate Heritage Day and National Braai Day with them on Wednesday 24 September.

Residents are encouraged to invite their families and friends to go along and enjoy a braai in its beautiful garden, in front of Marilyn’s Tea House, from 10am to 3pm. The fires and braais will be provided. A fee of R50 per car will be charged.

Take along your braai meat and tongs, drinks, blankets, camp chairs and whatever else you require to celebrate this proudly South African Day in true South African style at the SPCA.

There will be a jumping castle, the popular barrel train, a special play area for littlies, five jungle gyms as well as live entertainment by Belinda Dolphin, which is all included in the entrance fee.

It is set to be fabulous day out for the whole family and animals are welcome, but must be kept on leashes. Contact Lisa Gadd or Tersia Taskes on 031 764 1212.
