ACOUSTIC trio – Seth Parkin, Aury Livingstone and Caleb Frow – will be performing at Westville Theatre Club on Friday, 8 April as part of the club’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
Seth and Aury have been playing in bands together since 2008 and have performed at Splashy Fen, the Spogweni music festival and the 2010 Fifa World Cup stages. The Acoustic Trio was formed in 2015 and has opened for the likes of Arno Castens, Dan Patlansky, Khan Morbee and Chris Chameleon at the venue, Open Strings. Their music includes two guitars, keyboard, percussion and three-part harmony.
Having matriculated at Westville Boys’ High School, Seth and Caleb are currently studying music at COPA and UKZN respectively, and Aury is at UKZN completing his degree in chemical engineering.
Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are R80 for adults and R50 for students and pensioners. Take your own food and drinks.
