Litzwe will be performing at the Pure Lounge in Durban on Saturday, 25 March.

HAVING a plan on top of a plan is Westville vocalist, Litwe Mbotho’s motto.

Mbotho (21), a former Westville Boys’ High School learner  is an up and coming artist who is determined to make a career in the entertainment industry.

Litzwe is currently studying Law part time and he is also a graphic designer.

He said he fell in love with music when he took part at a concert in school (Kainon School).

In high school, Litzwe was part of a group called Forever Kool.

“We were a group of five and we all sang different genres. When I finished my matric, I decided to choose singing as a career, but without forgetting education as a background.”

He said it is very important for artists to be educated. “Artist should not underestimate the importance of education,” he said.

Apart from his singing ambitious, Litzwe said he loves putting his heart into the things he likes.
“I like being creative which is the reason I am a graphic designer and in the entertainment industry.,” he said.
He added that  his focus now is to get his music out to the people by using the internet and develop a fan base.

“Social network is the best place to market yourself,” he said.

Litzwe will be performing at the Pure Lounge in Durban on Saturday, 25 March at 12pm. Tickets cost R30.

Sanelisiwe Tsinde

My name is Sanelisiwe Tsinde, and I'm a mother of two boys and very family-oriented. Being a community journalist for years, I can proudly say I love writing about positive community news articles and giving a voice to the voiceless. Seeing people getting assistance warms my heart. Every day is a different challenge and a new learning opportunity. I supply news for our trusted publication weekly, and a few years ago, Caxton ventured into online publication, so I contribute daily to the websites. I could say I am a multimedia journalist, and working in a community newspaper is beneficial as we do not focus on one thing but we do a bit of everything.
