Follow the champions at Scottsville

Grade 1 winning Champion filly Same Jurisdiction makes her seasonal debut and appears very hard to beat in Race 3, a Pinnacle Stakes over 1400m at Scottsville today.

Returning from a break could test her fitness and the distance is slightly short of her very best but this Mambo In Seattle filly is very well weighted, jumps from a favourable draw and in Anton Marcus has the best around aboard her.

It is hard to see Same Jurisdiction getting beaten but the battle behind her could be interesting.

ML Jet drops back down in trip which could bring about another good run from the talented Jet Master gelding.

Stable companion No Worries, De Kock, King Of Torts and Sabaha could all be involved in a battle for stake cheques.

Following South African Champion trainer Sean Tarry could also prove profitable on the day as both Grey’s A Rockin (Race 5) and Golden High (Race 7) look to hold decent winning chances.

Jockey Anton Marcus has been booked to ride Grey’s A Rockin, the consistent but battling to win three-year-old and could just be the spark to turn things around.

This course and distance also suits the Greys Inn colt.

Barbarian and Seattle Wolf look his two main dangers but both may need to improve to beat Grey’s A Rockin.

Race 7 does look competitive but Golden High is sure to make a race of it.

The Trippi gelding clearly found 2400m too far last time and is far better suited to this 1950m trip.

Once again the battle for stake cheques will be tough with all of Withbatedbreath, Leeuloop Jet, Emperor Niarchos, Tell The Tale and Royal Colours holding winning chances.
