I never accused Mzwakhe Mbuli of defrauding Mandoza – Mpho
The late kwaito star's family has called on those who claim that the poet tried to defraud Mandoza's estate to come forward with evidence.

Mduduzi ‘Mandoza’ Tshabalala’s wife, Mpho Tshabalala, has lashed out at reports claiming that she had fired her late husband’s manager, Kevin Ntaopane, after allegedly accusing him and poet Mzwakhe Mbuli of trying to defraud her husband’s estate.
The Tshabalala family held a press briefing on Tuesday denying any reports of fraud involving the two. In fact, Mpho says she had no idea what the report was about.
Mpho says after the report came out, the poet called her on Sunday morning and told her he would fix the problem, as he knew “how the media operates”.
“It made me feel better, though I still asked myself how people would look at me after the papers said I fired the very same people who helped me,” she said.

Mpho says she never spoke to any publication and never accused anyone of defrauding her husband.
“Please let my husband rest in peace, please, lay off my husband’s name.”
Mbuli slammed the publication for writing the story without providing any evidence of a letter allegedly written by Mbuli and Mandoza’s manager on Mpho’s behalf to the Music Association of South Africa (Masa).
“Report must be fair and show us the letter that we wrote, like they did with the Guptas and Pravin, show us the letter!” said Mbuli.
When asked to comment on the report, Mandoza’s manager says he did not even know about the existence of the letter or the report that there was a letter.
The family says they will wait to see the letter then seek legal advice on what to do, as it is a matter of “defamation”.
Sunday World reported on the weekend that Mpho had allegedly fired Mandoza’s manager after he, along with Mbuli, allegedly tried to defraud her husband’s estate.
The publication reported that Mpho discovered a letter allegedly written by the two to Masa on her behalf, requesting funds to bankroll the late kwaito star’s record label Nkalakatha Records.

However, Mpho has denied the report, saying she did not talk to any publication about the allegations.
