Samsung said the new additions to the Galaxy A54 5G will help users shoot steady and crisp videos, see clearly in bright conditions and more.

Samsung has unveiled three new smartphones – the Galaxy A54 5G, Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A14 – adding to its A Series mobile phone lineup.

Samsung said the new additions to the popular Galaxy A54 5G will help users shoot steady and crisp videos, see clearly even in bright conditions and more.

TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics, said cutting-edge mobile experiences are increasingly essential to everyday life.

“With continuous enhancements to the Galaxy A series, we are ensuring that more people around the world can access our transformative innovations.”

Features

A54

The A54 features a Samsung-made Exynos 1380 chipset, equivalent to the Snapdragon 778G found in last year’s Galaxy A73.

It features a 6.4in 1,080 x 2,340 Super AMOLED display complete with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and a claimed 1,000 nits peak brightness and comes with ample storage for pictures and videos with 256GB on board storage with up to 1TB expandable with an optional microSD card.

The Galaxy A54 5G boasts 32MP front camera and the main camera does a proficient job with its 50MP.

It also has a 12 MP ultrawide, and a 5 MP macro sensor.

The Galaxy A34 on the other hand helps users capture their special moments with an AI 48MP triple camera and it comes with 1 memory variant 6 and a 128GB on board storage.

Samsung said the Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G deliver stunning images with clear quality even in bright conditions, making use of Samsung Galaxy’s Nightography and AI capabilities.

The Galaxy A34 5G comes with fast motion display – 120Hz refresh rate. The displays will keep up with users as they move between different lighting conditions.

Battery

All three Galaxy A smartphones have a 5,000mAh battery packed in, with the A54 and A34 supporting 25W wired charging, reduced to 15W in the A14.

Ecosystems

Samsung said the Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G are also compatible with the Samsung Galaxy ecosystem to provide seamless connectivity between devices.

“Durability is also a big feature in these new smartphones as they come with IP67 – a dust and water-resistant feature that helps it to withstand up to 1-metre of fresh water for up to 30 minutes,” the company said.

The Galaxy A54 5G, Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A14 are currently available in two colour options, including Awesome Lime and Awesome Graphite.
