Zenbook S 13 OLED: Introducing the thinnest, lightest laptop ever made

This laptop defies gravity and sets a new standard for portability...

ASUS unveiled its ‘Thincredible’ lineup of Zenbook and Vivobook series laptops via an online event this week, including the Zenbook S 13 – the world’s thinnest laptop.

The Zenbook S 13 OLED was without a doubt the star of the show, proudly claiming the title of the world’s lightest ‘ultraportable laptop.’

I’m in love, and if you listen to our podcasts, you’ll know why.

Apart from the Zenbook S13, the event also featured other laptops, including the Zenbook 14X OLED, the ASUS Zenbook 14 Flip OLED, and the ASUS Vivobook S 15, and 14 OLED.

The event showcased the principle of ‘more with less’.

I’m writing this article on the Zenbook S 13 OLED and trust me when I say… It’s really small, weighing only 1 kilogram and measuring less than 1cm – 9.9mm to be exact.

It is Intel Evo-certified and boasts exceptional performance, battery life, and sustainability, along with a stunning ASUS Lumina OLED display.

It is the perfect choice for the minimalist travellers among us, you won’t even know this laptop is in your backpack. But more about the specs in our upcoming, hands-on review.

About those Vivobooks

The Vivobook S 14 OLED and Vivobook S 15 OLED are both stylish and lightweight laptops, packed with performance prowess, brilliant OLED displays, and long-lasting batteries.

It features certified with military-grade durability and is designed with a 180° hinge to allow for multiple usage scenarios.

They are not as lightweight as the Zenbook S OLED, but measuring just 17.9 mm thin and weighing as little as 1.5 kg and 1.7 kg respectively, the compact Vivobook S series laptops redefine ‘laptop portability’.
