Lotto Plus winner bags R6 million with R20 ticket

Tuesday's (19 October 2021) PowerBall and PowerBall Plus draw carries an estimated value of R64 million.

National Lottery operator, Ithuba, has announced that one person won last Saturday’s R6 million Lotto Plus 2 jackpot.

The winning ticket was purchased on the Absa banking app. The winner spent R20 using the Quick Pick selection method to select the winning numbers of 10, 11, 28, 36, 38, 40 and Bonus Ball 19.

Ithuba CEO Charmaine Mabuza congratulated the winner, saying the Lotto’s winner services department is preparing to receive the winner.

“The first step will be to validate the winning ticket and offer the winner free trauma counselling and financial advisory services to assist the winner with their financial planning, as we do with all winners of R50,000 and above,” said Mabuza.

Tuesday’s (19 October 2021) PowerBall and PowerBall Plus draw carries an estimated value of R64 million.

The PowerBall estimated jackpot is R42 million, and the PowerBall Plus estimated jackpot is at a cool R22 million.

“As a convenient and safe method of playing the National Lottery games, we encourage players to utilise the National Lottery digital platforms,” said Mabuza.

Players can purchase their tickets from the National Lottery website using the National Lottery app or any one of the banking partners, namely FNB, Absa, Nedbank and Standard Bank.
