Distinguished guests attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Mbombela.

The Lowveld Eye Institute officially opened its doors yesterday, February 20.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for special guests, including the Mpumalanga MEC for health, Sasekani Manzini and Premier Mandla Ndlovu.

The MEC and premier walked through the facility and wished the doctors well as they help patients in the province.

Guests enjoyed drinks and delicious appetisers throughout the evening and celebrated in style. Local potter Esra Bosch also showcased some of her artwork during the function.
