White River Primary School welcomed their new Grade Ones to the big-school life with wide open, warm arms on their first day.

After a long holiday and much anticipation, the little Lowvelders stepped into their Grade One classes, starting an exciting new chapter. The classrooms were buzzing with energy as the little ones embarked on their exciting journey of learning and growth – creating memories they will cherish forever.

Few tears were shed, but there was plenty of rain. Parents and little ones alike will be hoping that, true to tradition, the rain is a lucky omen for those beginning their first day of school.
