Nominations for Best of Mbombela Reader’s Choice Awards 2025 now open

It’s that time of year when your fingers need to do the talking, because the Best of Mbombela Readers’ Choice Awards is about to kick off.
The city is limitless when it comes to possibilities – there’s always something to do, eat, drink, or buy. The awards celebrate all this and more, while giving you the chance to tell us who and what is truly the best of the best.

These awards are certainly among the most gratifying events Lowveld Media hosts annually, serving as a platform that recognises local excellence. Nominations for the Best of Mbombela Readers’ Choice lists are open online from today, December 19, until midnight on January 31.
This is an excellent opportunity to throw your treasured establishment’s hat in the ring based on its brand reputation, customer satisfaction, business excellence, quality of service, value, professionalism and integrity. The Best of Mbombela Readers’ Choice Awards 2025 boasts a few new categories.
There are nine main categories this year. To nominate a candidate: Simply head to www.lowvelder.co.za, click on ‘Promotions’ on the main page, then click on ‘Nominate your Best of Mbombela Candidates’.

You can also use your phone to scan the QR code provided here to navigate to the nomination page on Lowvelder’s website. Once on the page, click on the category you wish to nominate, and you will be directed to the relevant form.
There, you will be asked to enter the name and location of the business or branch, and your own email address. Only businesses within the City of Mbombela’s municipal area will be accepted, and only valid email addresses can be used. Readers may nominate with the same email address once per day.

Once the nominations have been counted, the voting process for Best of Mbombela will start. So what are you waiting for? Start nominating today.
