As the expo and the associated awards were introduced to ensure that the local advertising and marketing industry remained motivated to continually improve and explore the various avenues of their industry, it serves as a means of empowerment. With this in mind the afternoon workshops that starts at 12:00 for all business owners or managers, will be free of charge. They will focus on growing local business knowledge around more effective advertising and marketing practices.
Accompanying the expo at the Emnotweni Arena, will be the second instalment of the prestigious Red Aloe Awards which recognises and rewards exceptional creative talent behind the best print advertisement, corporate identity work, radio and social-media campaigns produced locally. This year the organisers added an extra category – the Student Category. The winner will be awarded a R15 000 cash prize.
TwoRedPens, the creative engine driving this prestigious event, is headed by local businesswoman Alison Blair. “This year we are going to change the look and feel of the event slightly,” she said. “We want to make the experience more interactive.”
If the previous expos are anything to go by, this year Blair and her team is sure to have put together another remarkable experience for all attendees.
With positive feedback from some of its most respected role players, partnering with TwoRedPens seems the logical solution to giving your business the growth platform it deserves.
