Life story of bishop instils hope in learners
He told the pupils that even though they could not choose their family, they could make choices regarding where they wanted to be in the future.

The heart-rending life story of Bishop Thokozani Thwala of the Temple of Faith Evangelistic Crusade made learners of Chief Funwako Secondary School in Emjindini Trust listen attentively and believe that anything was possible.
“I am the offspring of teenagers. My mother was 14 and my father was 17 when I was born. But through the sacrifices I made when I was young, today I am able to choose on a whim which car I want to drive,” said Thwala.
He visited Emjindini for a week where he held various services at the community hall under the theme “Umjindi Soul-Winning Crusade”.
This included visiting five local schools, namely Chief Funwako, where he liaised, gave advice and motivational talks.
He told the pupils that even though they could not choose their family, they could make choices regarding where they wanted to be in the future.
“There are things that can be taken away from you, but there are things which cannot be taken away like education. Some of you come from poor homes, but through education you can change your situation. Anything is possible. I want you to start believing that you can make a difference,” said Thwala.
He further discouraged the learners from dating at a young age.
“There is nothing wrong with dreaming and it doesn’t cost money. Dating is not dreaming, it is a choice you make. You must always remember that the decisions you make now, will effect your future,” he added.
The schoolchildren appeared to have been instilled with hope for a better future.
The school principal, Lucky Nkosi thanked the bishop and said his encouragement would assist the pupils.
