Gateway schoolchildren excel at Nelspruit Emnotweni Eisteddfod
Of the 105 students in the school, 63 took part in the various disciplines.
BARBERTON – This year Gateway Christian School had the privilege of once again participating in the Nelspruit Emnotweni Eisteddfod.
Of the 105 students in the school, 63 took part in the various disciplines like undramatised, dramatised and group poetry, as well as poetry duet and sight reading. Chloe Harvey, in grade R also received a B for vocal light music.
A total of 44 certificates were awarded and the results were as follows:
Dramatized Poetry: One A++
Undramatized Poetry: Four A++; 12 A+; 17 A’s
Duet Poetry: One A; one C+
Group Poetry: Four A+; One B
Sight Reading: One A++; one A+; one A
