Sugar and spice at Curro tea

Curro treated the moms of their female pupils this weekend with a mom and daughter tea.

NELSPRUIT – Sweet treats were at the order of the day during Curro School’s Mom and Daughter Tea on Saturday morning.

Dainty sandwiches, cupcakes with puffy white icing, huge milk tarts and whatever other snacks the various hostesses chose with the theme of their tables, completed the picture on high tea late on a weekend morning.

In keeping with the theme, the moms and daughters could not only munch on the snacks together, but joined by their friends, they were also shown jewellery and skin-care products on sale.

The speakers aimed to entertain and inspire the women and children, who ranged from teens to primary school pupils. Adele Strauss was the guest speaker before Jola Boutique put on a fashion show. Michelle Saaiman also discussed skin care before a lucky draw was held.
