Pick n pay Steelpoort presents customer with a new car

I will drive it responsibly and take care of it, its a blessing from God

STEELPOORT- Pick n Pay afforded a local woman an opportunity to drive away in a brand-new Chevy spark.

Chiny Sebolela (25) of Longtill did not own wheels but last week Saturday November 2, her life changed for the better. She was chosen as the winner of Pick n Pay’s win a car competition and the Chevy was definitely a welcome early Christmas present.

The car, a Chevy Spark hatch, was presented to a delighted Sebolela on November 4, after she was not available when the draw was conducted.

Sebolela bought groceries worth R800 in the store early last month which gained her entry into the competition. The winner was chosen from a million till slips that filled the mini car. The customers were urged to buy groceries of more than R100 to stand a chance of winning.

The draw for the car was conducted at the store. Sebolela’s till slip was drawn by local pastor Mr Elias Seloane. She was congratulated by the store manager, Mr Ludwick Ramokgolo and owner Mr Damien Archer.

An elated Sebolela told Steelburger/Lydenburg News that the car was the best thing to have happened in her life. “I will drive it responsibly, treasure it and cherish it for next coming years, I thank the great God for this present,” she said.

Before the draw, the air was electric with excitement as customers anticipated the prospect of going home in a brand-new car, and the competition generated a lot of excitement in the local community. Pick n pay also gave away the same model at their Jane Furse store.
