Rotary Club Donation

Rotary Club White River donated R20 000 to Mr Ben Nkambule of the Millennium Home of Hope (MHOH). The home caters for vulnerable children aged up to six years who have been abandoned, orphaned and are HIV positive. MHOH aims to place the children back in the community with foster ones or adoptive parents within three months after they have been treated. The donation will be utilised to buy nappies, milk and other consumables necessary to support these youngsters on a daily basis. Some years ago Rotary Club White River also helped supply a truck for the home which is still in use today. It also facilitated a short holiday for all the children to a nearby resort.
