Sizabantwana Golf Day makes a huge difference

Charity event for orphans and vulnerable children

To play golf for fun is a very rewarding feeling, but to know that having fun makes a difference is the ultimate reward. Sabi River Sun Resort was the venue for 96 golfers to compete in the annual Sizabantwana golf day on Saturday, November 9. All the earnings were donated to Sizabantwana which cares for 650 orphaned and vulnerable children in the Mariti area.

The golfers teed off at 07:45 and competitors battled on till past 18:00. The day was rounded off with a prize giving at the club house.

Ten boys of Sizabantwana got the opportunity to accompany the caddies and players on the golf course. This gave them exposure to the game of golf and the opportunity to ask questions.

Thanks to all the sponsors and “Friends of Sizabantwana” who contributed towards this potententially life changing experience. . To become a “friend” please visit www.sizabantwana.org
