NELSPRUIT – The Ehlanzeni District Municipality (EDM) has again attained a clean audit from the Auditor-General (AG).
The AG’s report, dated November 30 found the municipality’s statements for the 2012/13 financial year, “present fairly, in all material respects, the financial position of the EDM … and its financial performance and cash flows for the year then ended”.
This is the fourth consecutive year that the EDM has achieved a clean audit opinion from the AG’s office. The municipality said it was the result of unified leadership within the institution.
