White River Rotary Anne’s, together with Dignity Dreams, sponsored 91 Dignity Dreams packs for Child Welfare SA White River.It was handed to young girls of Phumlani outside White River during December.
Often young girls who live in poverty, can’t afford sanitary towels and often miss school days as a result. “These sanitary packs are reusable and last for two years,” said Sandra Millar, founder Dignity Dreams.
Johan Bosch, operations manager Child Welfare SA White River, Sabie & Graskop, viewed this donation as significant. “Community projects like these, uplift young girls and help them to maintain their dignity,” commented Bosch.
