Dissimilar political views in one family

The 17-year old Visser replied yes, he really, truly believe that the ANC will move South-Africa forward.

BARBERTON – Barberton Times spoke to some of the voters standing in line at the voting stations earlier this morning. Amongst them was a young man, André Visser. Visser was obviously an ANC-supporter, because he arrived at the town hall, proudly showing off his sunny yellow t-shirt that clearly displayed his political party of choice.

On being questioned if he really believes that the ANC will deliver on their favourite campaign slogan, the one about moving South-Africa forward, Visser replied that yes, he really, truly believe they will.

Good news for the opposition parties, but unfortunate for the ANC, Visser will not be able to vote this time around, as he is only 17. He merely came along with his parents, who were there to vote, and they were both very adamant, laughingly so, that they did not share their son’s political views.
