Pupils represent countries of the world

The grade three pupils of Hazyview Primary recently had great fun learning about different countries.

The grade three pupils of Hazyview Primary recently had great fun learning about different countries.

They each had to present a country by dressing up as a citizen and explaining its culture. Countries represented included Egypt, England, South Africa and Mexico.

Michel Nkuna represented England and explained that English is one of the world’s most spoken languages.

She pointed out that there are lots of dishes invented in or distinctive to England, like English muffins, crumpets, mushy peas, Beef Wellington, Worcestershire sauce and Yorkshire pudding.

The teacher was very impressed with all her knowledge about England.
