Sod- turning ceremony at Sehlaku High School

DRIEKOP – Samancor Eastern Chrome Mines (ECM) held a sod-turning ceremony at the Sehlaku High School on July 23. ECM has offered a wonderful project as part of its donation to the school – it has offered to build a school laboratory, auditorium, mechanical engineering workshop and three additional classrooms before the end of 2014.

The school will also be provided with whiteboards to ease and enhance the teachers’ work. The school principal said whiteboards with markers worked much faster than chalk on blackboards. For this article and more get a copy of Steelburger/Lydenburg News tomorrow.
