Hawkers building rented out for individual gain

BURGERSFORT- The building that was  for Tubatse Hawkers Association under Greater Tubatse Municipality (GTM), had been used for individual gain. The building situated at the Dirk Winterbach Street was allegedly hired by the HBC Construction while it was meant for the association’s activities.

The contractor applied for a permit to rent the building and the municipality disapproved their application. The letter stated that the building was strictly built only to be used by the Tubatse Hawkers Association and not to be rented out to any organization or party.
