Malalane Bowls Club hosts 30th Selati bowls tournament

Malalane Bowls Club hosted the 30th Selati bowls tournament from August 7 to 10. Players from all over the country joined the memorable event.

Tents and caravans were a sight of pure tradition as the players camped out during the duration of the tournament.

Participants were wined and dined by the new chef of the club and the comity ensured a tournament full of laughter when they invited their very own magician Mr Spyker Brits, to get in on the game.

The results were as follows:

First: Pieter Cronje, Koos Bierman, Marina Smith and Magda Bierman.

Second: Bert Du Preez, Wally Duncan, Hanlie Duncan, Janette Szikra.

Third: David Roos, Tony Crowford, Annetjie Roos, Lynn Crowford.
