MALALANE – Celebrating Spring, Lou’s Little Learners Playgroup (ages 18 months to three years) held a Mad Hatters Tea Party – spring hat competition.
This took place on Friday September 5 at the Playgroup in Air Street.
Mums and children were tasked to make their own spring hats – full of enthusiasm both mum and child modelled their hats down the Playgroup catwalk. The judges were Amber Matthewson of Spur and Kim Springorum, Riverview Prep.
A word of thanks goes to Hamiltons Restaurant, The Diner and The Wimpy for their contributions of meal vouchers which were distributed as prizes to the lucky winners. Of course, everyone likes to win something, so thanks too to Spur for its sponsorship in meal vouchers for every child there.
The festivities of the morning were enjoyed by all – a memorable morning of fun, laughter and so much colour! All funds raised go towards purchasing/building an outdoor playhouse for the Playgroup.
