Exploring the Dinosaur Park at Sudwala Caves was a great adventure for the grade fours of Hazyview Primary.
This was only the starting point of this annual trip and the pupils were captivated by the interesting facts of prehistoric life and evolution.
Next, the group marvelled at the ancient rock formations of the caves, before heading to Sabie. Here, luscious forests shaded the group as they walked to the Bridal Veil Falls.
The small mining town of Pilgrim’s Rest was the last stop. The kids learnt about the history of the town and were fascinated by the graveyard.
Here the Robber’s Grave lies, which faces perpendicular to the rest. Legend goes that his grave was laid out this way so that he could not see the rising sun.
