Urgent message with regard to Eskom load shedding

If the capacity is still at the same level we would need to consider Stage 1 load shedding possibly on Thursday (whole day) or as early as Wednesday evening ( 4 – 6 hours)."

LYDENBURG – Eskom is sending out warnings regarding water constraints relating to the load shedding. The company implemented load shedding this Sunday after one of the coal silos at their Majuba Power Stations collapsed.

Eskom said in a statement that water constraints could start by Wednesday. “With the extensive usage of the water resources it would mean by Wednesday  towns could be constrained with water. If the capacity is still at the same level we would need to consider Stage 1 load shedding possibly on Thursday (whole day) or as early as Wednesday evening ( 4 – 6 hours).”
