March remains peaceful
A memorandum will be handed over and a copy thereof sent to Cooperative Governance Minister Pravin Gordhan.

LYDENBURG – The march that is set to take place today, has not reached the town yet. Journalists paid a visit to the central park in Mashishing and found peaceful protesters singing songs and dancing.
According to Mr Joel Ledwaba, organizer of the march, the Civic Coalition will monitor the situation and no violence is said to take place.
Ledwaba said that they are still awaiting buses from Graskop and Sabie who will join in the march. “The march will start at Lydenburg Magistrates court from were we will head to the municipality. A memorandum will be handed over and a copy thereof sent to Cooperative Governance Minister Pravin Gordhan.”
He said that the march is based on poor service delivery, corruption and high electricity bills.
The newspaper will keep readers informed as the march takes place.
