St Thomas college the best school in Tubatse with the matric results

“Although we didn’t obtain a 100 per cent pass rate we are quite happy to have achieved a 99 per cent pass rate and we are once again number one in the Sekhukhune district,” explained the excited principal, Mr Samuel George.

BURGERSFORT- St Thomas College’s matric class did it again. Like their predecessors their results topped the rest of the schools in the Tubatse circuit with a 99 per cent pass rate.

“Although we didn’t obtain a 100 per cent pass rate we are quite happy to have achieved a 99 per cent pass rate and we are once again number one in the Sekhukhune district,” explained the excited principal, Mr Samuel George.

The school also won an award for being the second best independent school in Limpopo. About 79 pupils obtained entrance to study at universities, and 10 for diplomas.The college’s top learner was Thabo Kopano who accumulated six distinctions, with a total average of 88 per cent.

The second best learner was Karabo Ratshoshi. She got five distinctions, and her average is 86 per cent. Lemogang Motsopi Mmopane was the third best pupil with six distinctions, and an average of 84 per cent.
