Mountain View Primary’s Grade 1’s off to a great start

If Barberton Times didn't know that it was their first day at school, we would have thought they have been there the previous year as they were right at home - both in class and on the playground.

The Grade 1’s of Mountain View Primary in Cathyville were having an early lunch when Barberton Times arrived to take their pictures. The girls looked beautiful in their new red dresses and the white shirts of the boys’ were still crisp and clean so early in the day.
These young learners were not camera shy at all.  If Barberton Times didn’t know that it was their first day at school, we would have thought they have been there the previous year as they looked right at home – both in class and on the playground.
It did take a while for all of them to get back in class after the bell sounded and one of the teachers used a police whistle to get their attention.
The classes are beautiful and the kids said that they are looking forward to big school.
