Grade ones seize their first day at Carpe Diem
Although it was hard for some parents to momentarily set their little ones free, teachers and personnel welcomed the children with open arms, reassuring moms and dads that they were in good hands.
MBOMBELA – Great was the excitement when 20 grade one learners entered the gate of Carpe Diem Primary School for the very first time on Wednesday morning.
Although it was hard for some parents to momentarily set their little ones free, teachers and personnel welcomed the children with open arms, reassuring moms and dads that they were in good hands.
Carpe Diem told Lowvelder that it looked forward to the new year, which promises to be a highlight in the lives of the grade ones as the school was already planning a big concert in which they would also take part.
It has also appointed a new grade one teacher who will take care of the learners. “We believe that special attention should be given to each child and therefore keep our classes small with a maximum of only 24 learners,” the school said.
Carpe Diem Primary is a Christian school which also caters for children with learning difficulties.
