Robbery suspect brutally beaten by angry mob

BURGERSFORT- A 19-year-old man who was caught red handed while he was trying to steal from a neighbouring house, was brutally beaten by an angry mob who said they are fed up with crime in the Bothashoek areas. The mob said they wanted to taught Thabiso Nkuna a lesson that poverty cannot be eradicated by crime.
Nkuna had apparently been terrorising the Bothashoek residents for years, but last Tuesday morning his luck came to an end. Nkuna, who claimed he steals because of his poverty stricken family, became the latest statistic in the horrifying list of victims of people’s justice.
