Ama Wheelies, a non-profit organisation that enables the rural disabled community, invites the public to join its Valentine's Day Love Your Car Wash Day and fund-raiser at Jock Avenue Street, Mashishing on February 14.

LYDENBURG – Ama Wheelies, a non-profit organisation that enables the rural disabled community, invites the public to join its Valentine’s Day Love Your Car Wash Day and fund-raiser at Jock Avenue Street, Mashishing on February 14.

Mr Moses Mlombo, the chairman of the organisation says, “We want the community members to be our Valentine’s Day date for 2015, spend the day with us and get to know us better. The public must remember to bring their loved ones, families, friends and they will get the opportunity to learn about living with a disability,” he added.

The team has put together a day that will cater for the entire family.

“We have jumping castles and water slides arranged for children. Adults will be entertained with live music by our local DJs and food and beverages will be sold on site,” he explained.

“Jock Avenue Street will be closed during the event so that people can enjoy the day in safety,” said Mlombo.

The car wash will be opened from 10:00 until late. The prices are as follows: R50 for a small car, R60 for a sedan (family car) and R70 for a van.

“Your contribution will make a huge difference to us and remember your car will be washed with love. Our dress code for the day is ‘red and white’, the colours of love,” he concluded.
